TOYOTA RAV4 review

NGC verdict 13.03.2017

Toyota has been gradually adding hybrids to its range to the extent that the majority of its core model range now has an electrified option. Only the relatively old Avensis and the Aygo - co-developed with Peugeot and Citroen - don't have hybrid options. The RAV4 is one that does, and it's a rarity in the family-SUV bracket. Kia's Niro - which is smaller and more of a crossover - is the only rival to the RAV4 in the jacked-up hybrid stakes, so the market is largely its own. However, the point of Toyota's electrification is to make hybrid technology the norm. NGC tests the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid to see how successful it is.
