Skoda launches Enyaq Coupe iV vRS

Skoda has announced UK pricing and specifications for the Enyaq Coupe iV vRS, the company’s first pure-electric model to feature the vRS performance badge.

Featuring 220 kW (299 hp) from twin electric motors, the Enyaq Coupe iV vRS is all-wheel drive, and completes the 0-62mph sprint in 6.5 seconds.

Driving range remains high, despite the performance focus, with 309 miles possible on a single charge of the 82 kWh (77 kWh net) battery.

Rapid charging can be carried out on compatible CCS units at up to 135 kW DC, which will add a charge to 80% in just over half an hour. On a standard home of public 7.2 kW AC charge point, a full charge will take around 13 hours.

The famous vRS performance models from Skoda get sportier styling as well as increases in power and tweaks to the suspension and steering.

Fitted to the first electric vRS model from the Czech brand are a full-length panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch black alloys - or 21-inch alloys available as an option. Both sets of wheels feature inserts to help maximise aero efficiency.

Full LED metric headlights, Crystal Face illuminated fascia, signature vRS full-width rear reflector, sports bumpers front and rear, and black gloss details make up the rest of the exterior changes.

Inside, heated leather sports seats, multi-function steering wheel, aluminium pedals, carbon effect inserts, LED ambient lighting, and electric tailgate are all fitted as standard.

Prices start from £51,885 and order books open on Thursday 17th February. Deliveries are expected to start in the UK from July.
