Zap-Map looks at impact of coronavirus on EV charging

Zap-Map is carrying out a survey of electric car drivers to help understand the impact of the coronavirus on public EV charging infrastructure.

The results of the survey will be made available to UK Government, to assist with making clear any issues with EV charging infrastructure. Since key workers driving electric vehicles are likely to rely on EV chargers, problems with networks could present serious issues for essential travel.

NGC's sister-site Zap-Map is working with the Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology (REA), and findings will be made available to networks and other organisations that help keep charge points available for key workers.

Should you drive an electric vehicle, you can take the survey at Zap-Map's coronavirus updates page via the button below. Zap-Map is also keeping users updated with charge point statuses of those units inaccessible because of coronavirus-related site closures.
