Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo unveiled at Geneva

Porsche has launched a new concept at Geneva in the shape of the Mission E Cross Turismo. The pure-EV expands on the Mission E confirmed for production, by both becoming an estate and crossover at the same time.

The concept is one of the directions Porsche is looking to expand the Mission E line-up, with further models based on the EV saloon previously announced. This is the first look at a second Mission E-based though, and offers the sort of practicality options not normally associated with either electric vehicles or Porsche.

Two electric motors produce a combined 440 kW (more than 600hp), good for a 0-62mph time of less than 3.5 seconds. All-wheel drive systems will also help in more rugged terrain and slippery conditions.

Like the Mission E, the Cross Turismo also boasts ultra-rapid charging capabilities, while it also features induction charging technology.
