TESLA Model S review

NGC verdict 23.12.2013

However you look at it, it's amazing that Tesla, a small company with no car history has made the likes of Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, you name it, look old fashioned and Luddite when it comes to building a viable premium market electric car.

Not only does it have a decent range (260 to 320 miles) depending how hard you drive it, the Model S is faster than some AMG Mercedes models that would achieve 10 mpg on fossil fuels. Aesthetically the cabin could be better, with higher quality materials, but the huge touch screen works brilliantly (especially if it can establish a 4G Internet connection). For business users it makes massive sense under current taxation policies.
