RENAULT Twingo review

NGC verdict 18.03.2015

The Twingo is an intriguing answer to the city car dilemma and has plenty of chic appeal. And rear seat passenger space and access is a big positive. It looks pricey though compared to the Skoda Citigo or Hyundai i10 and isn’t as quiet and refined as the Volkswagen Up.

What owners will make of the rear wheel drive layout on snowy roads remains to be seen, especially in view of the wider tyres which aren’t the things to have on slippery surfaces. Interestingly, Volkswagen abandoned a rear-drive layout for the Up but said that was for reasons of cost.
