SEAT Leon review

NGC verdict 24.07.2014

Quite simply this Ecomotive model is the most efficient Seat Leon ever. The official combined fuel figure is an amazing 85.6 mpg and we managed 64.5 mpg without that much special effort out in the real world. But this economy comes at a price and not just financial.

It isn't as quiet and smooth as a standard Leon and you need some economy driving skills to gain the extra ten or so mpg over a normal Leon which is an accomplished drive. Company car drivers who can cruise lots of motorway miles might plump for the Ecomotive but the extra £990 on the list price is likely to put off private buyers.
