RENAULT Scenic review

NGC verdict 13.04.2015

Renault no longer imports the big Espace to the UK so the Scenic carries the baton for five-seater MPVs and the Grand Scenic for seven. Three of the seats are best suited only to children but it is well equipped and good enough to drive for a beast of burden.

Otherwise excellent practicality is marred by the difficulty of removing the centre row of seats when maximum carrying capacity is needed. The petrol and diesel engines are economical. The vehicle feels solidly built as befits Renault’s reputation for improving quality.
