Audi reveals e-tron GT

Audi has announced that it will add an all-electric four-door GT model to its forthcoming e-tron portfolio, with a focus on sportiness and sleek design.

The Audi e-tron Gran Turismo was confirmed at the company's annual media conference, and will complement the e-tron SUV due later this year, and the e-tron Sportback coupe-SUV due in 2019.

The e-tron GT will arrive in 2020, and is pitched as a 'very sporty four-seater for the Audi Sport sub-brand'. Fully electric, the e-tron GT shows how Audi will take its performance brand forward, and adds to the e-tron EV brand.

Audi's e-tron GT comes as part of its Roadmap E plans, which will see around 20 electrified models across its line-up by 2025. More than half of them will be pure-electric, with the rest plug-in hybrids.
