100 free tickets for EcoVelocity show

The UK's largest green motoring show, EcoVelocity, is returning for its second year, to be held from 5th to 13th May at London's ExCeL Exhibition Centre.

Organisers of the show are giving away 100 pairs of tickets completely free, which will enable free entry to the show.

To obtain a free ticket, visit EcoVelocity's website and enter 'ECOV2012' as your 'Special Offer Code'. Once the code is entered, your free ticket will be emailed directly to you, which just needs to be printed and brought to the event.

EDF Energy, the UK's largest producer of low carbon energy, will act as headline sponsor of EcoVelocity this year – they will be supplying the on-site recharge points that will be used for charging the numerous plug-in vehicles that will be attending.

The event will showcase the latest in cutting edge technology from the world's leading car manufacturers as well as providing the opportunity for you to test drive the newest low carbon and electric vehicles along a 3.5 mile road course.

The show will present an opportunity to view the current and future options for more environmentally responsible motoring, get a greater understanding of the technology and processes involved in developing low carbon vehicles and an insight into the benefits of owning one.

The majority of mainstream car manufacturers will be present, offering the chance to experience first had their latest low emission, high efficiency models. There will be a chance to drive the pioneering range extended electric vehicle – the Vauxhall Ampera. Many other electric, hybrid and plug-in vehicles will also be present, as well as a wealth of low emission conventionally powered petrol and diesel cars.

At the heart of EcoVelocity for 2012 is the 'Main Theatre' where visitors can listen to a varied series of presentations and talks from the industry experts about the world of low carbon motoring, including vehicle production, the different technologies and how they operate in the real world. Each session will end with an open 'Q and A' session so visitors can get direct answers to their questions.
