8.9.2011 Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 available to order

The new Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, the world's first full diesel hybrid is now available to pre-order with full prices and specifications announced for this multi-award winning vehicle.
This environmentally friendly car introduces a combination of diesel and electric power, a real breakthrough in technology that delivers reduced cost of ownership.
HYbrid4 technology delivers low CO2 and high miles per gallon, but without compromise to performance. This is achieved through its four driving modes; Auto, ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle), Sport and 4WD.
These available driving mode choices offer something to suit all driving conditions. ZEV mode allows smooth silent driving with no tailpipe emissions, whilst with the engine running CO2 emissions are only 99 g/km. With 4WD and 200 bhp, the performance is adequate for most motorists – and 74 mpg combined cycle fuel economy is impressive for the size and weight of the 3008.
A limited edition version of the 3008 HYbrid4 has now sold out. However, the range still offers two versions. The more affordable is the 99 g/km model which will cost £26,995 and a 104 g/km version will cost £28,495.
Although a seemingly high price tag when compared to other competitors in this class, there are additional reductions in running costs which will bring the overall long term cost of ownership down. The 3008 HYbrid4 is fuel efficient and falls into Band A for tax, meaning that it is exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) and has a Benefit In Kind (BIK) rate of just 13%. It will maintain strong residual values and exemption from the London Congestion Charge.
New technology, an extensive list of features available as standard and a new driving experience are all virtues that will help retain a high level of desire in 3008 HYbrid4. With the official prices now released, you can order your vehicle with Peugeot today.
