*1 tonne will only be offset if policy remains in force for 12 months

**If an approved repairer is used, a courtesy vehicle will be provided while your vehicle is being repaired by them.

Carbon Offset Policy

The Green Insurance Company guarantees to offset 1 tonne of your car's harmful carbon dioxide emissions, to reduce the impact on the environment through a tree-planting scheme.

How it works:

• The Green Insurance Company calculate how much carbon dioxide is released in a year by your car
• This is then balanced by planting trees in specific forestry projects to absorb these emissions
• Trees planted will absorb CO2 through photosynthesis converting CO2 and water to oxygen and plant matter
