Best MPG Cars
Finding a car with the best MPG or highest official miles per gallon is important to reduce your motoring costs. The list below shows the best mpg cars in each vehicle category.
Apart from saving on fuel costs, the best MPG cars often have the lowest tail-pipe CO2 emissions, and thus lowest Car Tax.
Electric cars have been excluded from this list as they do not use fuel. See electric cars.

The best MPG cars does not directly correlate to the greenest or most efficient cars.
